Dealing with Kim at Poppy Love was a joy. She and David the fitter took painstaking care in working out how to get around a problem in order to make up and fit curtains on 2 new electric Silent Gliss curtain rails to replace my very old ones which had come to the end of their life. Their knowledge and expertise produced an end result that was exactly as promised - and the curtains look amazing. Kim also arranged for David and Richard to come to fit the rails and curtains this month (January 21) during lockdown after emailing me for confirmation that I was happy with all the strict guidelines which the 3 of us readily adhered to during their visit. Because of the complexity their work took several hours to complete with painstaking attention to detail. I can honestly say that I can't wait to use her services again. No detail was too small and no effort was too great for Kim.

Kim brought us a good choice of fabric books to look at, helped us with ideas, and then left samples with us for a few days to peruse, which really helped us make a good choice.  The result has been some modern, smart, well fitted, made to measure roller blinds and vertical blinds for six windows, all of which have greatly enhanced the look of our new kitchen extension. Refreshingly, in comparison to some other companies, Kim’s prices for consultation, supplying and fitting were very realistic. We were also pleased to see that our order arrived promptly, particularly as we ordered over the Christmas period. We have recently had roller blinds at the window and rear patio door in our kitchen. Initially we wanted vertical blinds and other companies came and quoted on that basis. When Kim came she noticed the position of our fridge next to the patio door and suggested that a vertical blind could be damaged by the door when we opened the fridge and suggested the roller blind. Nobody else who had quoted considered this. Kim's knowledge was what sold Poppy Love to us. In terms of the fitting, it was all done and dusted in about an hour and a half with no mess left behind. The blind cords are child safe which is reassuring as we have two little ones who like to explore. Overall, I would happily recommend Poppy Love to anyone.

Kim at Poppy Love looked promising and was very local, so we got in touch and were able to set up a first visit very quickly. Kim is clearly very experienced in understanding her clients’ styles and preferences. Taking each room in turn, we have had blinds, curtains, dress curtains and shutter blinds from Poppy Love. All of the products have been exquisitely made, are of excellent quality and have been fitted perfectly by Steve. I would recommend everyone get them professionally fitted - there is far more to it than hanging fabric on a pole! Now we have used Kim’s services we won’t ever look elsewhere. Kim took the time to show various samples, explain fabric choices, present different options for tie-backs, poles, finials and so on. It’s a much easier process when there is someone on-hand to provide their experiences with certain fabrics and how they work with different styles, without imposing any of their own preferences upon you. Equally refreshingly, Kim is less expensive than a department store due to much-reduced overheads and yet the quality of work is higher and lead time from ordering to install is just a few weeks. A great service and a quality product.
